Cenotaph & Pocket Edition

Cenotaph and the Pocket Edition are no longer online. They now join the ranks of "the great zines that were." Cenotaph, widely praised and showered with awards, began accepting submissions in late 1998. Billed as "Fiction for the New Millennium," Cenotaph featured well-crafted fiction, forums, and extensive author biogaphies. Editor Paul Tylor skillfully blended short stories of various lengths to create just the right mix for each entertaining issue. Pocket Edition, founded by editor Diane M. Schuller, put flash fiction in the spotlight. Succeeded in the editorial chair by Shawn M. Davis, both women produced each themed issue with flair. Sincerest thanks to the editorial staff, hundreds of authors, and fiction forum administrator Penny Gerking for their exceptional contributions to the success of Cenotaph.
