Under the editorship of Penny Gerking, Retrozine featured poetry, prose, and original art ranging from the heart-rending to the humorous and every shade of emotion in between. Retrozine won many awards, and more importantly, reaffirmed the importance of the need to examine life's turning points through poetry and creative non-fiction.
